Can you wash the glasses cleaning cloth?
My husband is a carpenter and your lenses get very dirty. I would like to wash the cleaning cloth that has but I do not think you should use soap on it. Reccomendations?
Yes, you can wash cloths. When you do not use fabric and allow to dry air instead of putting them in the dryer. Never store damp clothing. When her husband clean his glasses, have clear lenses under the tap and use a mild soap to clean lenses (Dial, Dawn etc.). Then use the spray and pat dry the lens with the cloth. Do not use paper products (Kleenex, toilet paper, sheets for the dryer, paper towels) to clean or dry the lenses, as this will scratch the lens (even if you have protection against scratches.) A dish towel or old work cotton shirt to dry the lenses too. Never clean or dry clean lenses – any dirt or damage to the lens simply grind the lenses to zero (even if you have protection against scratches.) Do not use Windex or ammonia products on them, because this will degrade any scratches or anti-reflective treatment on the lenses. Sparkle is can be used.
