Remember not to blink the Earth was a science fiction book I read as a child age. I can find no reference to it.?
The title part of a poem in the book. Book must be late fifties or sixties. If I had a green cover and black back. It was a paperback book. Part the poem was in the back. "Recall not the Earth, or abandoned children mourn shattered …" I can only remember fragments of the poem and story.
Amazon has seven copies of it for sale. CC memory MacApp Earth (© 1970) Earth has been waxed, and only a handful of humans left, now hired as mercenaries. The story is nothing exceptional, but it reads like classic SF (could it be because this is classic SF?). There is no war between the empires, the mysterious technology, and all that good stuff. MacApp was not a well known author, and unfortunately died before he became a household name that was destined be.
