Is the application of hand lotion before or after straightening your hair it smooth, shiny and straight?

I use (pink) Johnson lotion baby my hair is very wavy and curly. I straighten with a ceramic coated flat steel as well. Since I started using these two products have had no problems frizzy or lint. Baby lotion less fat than most conditioners to leave too, so no heavy build up and still get the volume. I also recently switched to a shampoo and hair conditioner new company to distribute to Livinity call. Products Bergamot Mint leave my hair feeling free accumulation and radiant hair. It smells a little head and shoulders, and has the same effect, but much better.
