Can my PC run STALKER: Shadow of Chernobyl and Elder Scrolls 4 Oblivion at 30FPS?
Hello I like to run below 30 FPS games. I PC is running an ATI Radeon 9600 PRO 256MB AGP 8X AMD Athlon XP 1800 + 1 GB DDR 400 Dual Channel (512×2) dual channel mode. Sound Blaster Audigy 2 ZS Platinum. AOC 19 "Widescreen LCD. XP PRO Now I like to run my games at 1280×768 resolution with 16:9 screen this setting looks great on my monitor. What I know is my PC can run these two games at 30 fps I do not care to establish the effects and details of the mesh and shadow detail on low. Even I'm going to put the shadow on the forehead. I really need to know why I am getting the games before and I live in the West Indies and PC parts are a bit expensive here considering that they spend most of their money on food frecking. hmm that's why they say God bless America. Now I know. Anyway anyone here can give some information here that I put in Ps Since 2512 I've noticed stick the performance of my PC has doubled and I mean FPS has doubled. Could it be the RAM working in dual channel mode?
I can not say about Stalker, but You Will not be able to get 30 FPS in Oblivion with that hardware. Sorry, but the system is not even close to doing.
