How I can accomplish multitasking on my computer?
How I can accomplish multitasking on my computer? I am currently using an AMD Sempron processor 1.81GHZ and 896MB of RAM.
Just run too many programs at once which is multi-tasking.

Multi Tasking Burns The Bacon
I had put off dishes and thinking about dinner, as I was having a really awesome ‘work’ day. So when the kids and my sweetie arrived home and I realized I hadn’t planned ahead, I made the selection that in my house comes JUST before “fast food.”
“Eggs and Bacon and Toast OH MY!”
While the first round of bacon is on the pan, I clean up and fill the sink to get through as many dishes as I could before moving on to the adept art of egg flipping. My kitchen sink gives me a great view of my back yard. As I’m doing dishes, I started thinking about my garden. What I’ll plant out there, what I’ll do differently this year. Doing the dishes is a very thoughtful time for me – I love having my hands in warm naturally bubbly water. I reflected on the day.
.and then smelled the burnt bacon.
Nuts.
Multi tasking burns the bacon. It’ll burn the bacon in your business, too. Trying to do it all at once gets less accomplished, or even worse, gets it done incorrectly and with mistakes.
If you want to get more accomplished in your day with your business, you need to write out your tasks, go at them one at a time according to priority, and get through them before you move on to anything else.
I find the easiest (and least fussy) way to do this is have a book or a notepad on your desk, and simply make a list. As you finish each task, strike it off. At the end of the day, you’ll have a list of things you’ve accomplished (proof!) and more than likely more things to do the day after. I picked up this little trick while working at Only Green (I was the assistant office administrator, and I had a world of tasks on my plate every day.)
My suggestion is always to finish the last days tasks before moving on. Otherwise that one task will sit there screaming at you. Get it done, get through it, and move on.
Trying to do everything at once is going to amount to getting NOTHING accomplished.
A detailed scheduler will help keep you unruly procrastinators in line – I tend to schedule myself by the hour. 50 minutes for work, 10 minutes to either eat, stretch, dance around the livingroom, pet a cat. and then back to it. You can get an amazing amount of work done even if you only have a few hours a day.
I guess I had better start pencilling in “take something out for dinner” on that list, too.
