Light Ray

Light Ray
Why the idea of looking at the farthest point of a ray of light that is considered a form of time travel?

He could not lead a person to the event itself, only for the purpose of what was at the time of occurrence. I'm thinking of hiring an access platform so you can see the height of horses higher than shown here. OK go to sleep tonight worldwide. I'm sure the idea is used to suggest time travel is possible, if it is then the ends of the light rays are a different matter. This can go to vote, I really want to delete it though. No one has answered what I asked.

"I could not lead a person to the event itself, only a vision of what was at the time of occurrence "This is true for an event at any distance. Think about it. An event that occurs five yards in front of you. When the light if you arrive, you are not seeing the event as is the case. You are looking at a delay equal to the time it took the light to travel five feet. Are in fact never in any case. You are always some nonzero distance, and therefore never see an event as it actually happens. Be hundreds of years light-only means that we are seeing the events with a delay of hundreds of years, unlike a few picoseconds.
