Weekend Issues cosmetic eyes
Recently, it has been in the news that eye pencils, eye shadow, mascara and can cause eye infections. In some cases, these infections can be life long-term and long term.
In the past I had problems with cosmetics and eyes that gave rise to ulcers Corneal. That experience has taught me to always be careful of cosmetics choose to apply around my eye area.
Eye Shadow Powder a high degree of mica (brightness) should never be applied closest to the top of your eyelashes. The mica can easily detach and become the air landing in you eyes and leading to infection. Consider using cream shadows as they adhere to the skin and stay where you put them. Currently, I use that is water resistant and gives me additional protection of the movement.
Eye pencils contain wax, which also causes irritation and redness. I recommend not using a crayon in the lower lid inside the eye that produces the greatest risk for infection. If you have a steady hand then use a Liquid Eyeliner and preferably waterproof. The other products that make eyeliners are very good Shadow Cream applied with a brush.
Masks are the main culprits of eye infections. In my particular circumstance, the TIE in the mascara that caused my problem. Most women masks contain tar and many have no problems. Tar is an ingredient used to increase the volume of your lashes. I can achieve the same look by applying double my current mask while obtaining the assurance that I will not be in the ophthalmologist's office this week.
Be sure to replace all eye products every 3 months. This is a legitimate recommendation eye products because they are easily contaminated with daily use. Perhaps this can be extended to wash brushes daily using disposable applicators and fingers away from its product mix to the eyes.
